I haven't seen any as low as $5, but CoreVPS.com has one for $7.99 with no setup charge (and no long-term-pricing gimmicks). Very nice, actually.

How about just using a DNS service like http://www.dnsmadeeasy.com?

How are you transferring zones to your secondary DNS machine?

Using cPanel, or rsync to purely copy files, etc?

    Hi

    I agree with smoore!

I am using dnsmadeeasy.com to do secondary DNS.

It is better and more reliable that a single VPS to do that. They give you 3 econdary servers.

zoneedit.com or dyndns.org are also a good options.

    Regards.
