Having noticed that this forum, not to mention a slew of others, switched from UBB to VB, I was wondering what the major advantages of VB is. How much improvement in terms of speed can one expect from its database? Is customization all done from a graphical Interface? How about security or backup, which UBB apparently does not support explicitly (the later)?
Thanks guys,

Here is a past thread on VB, but I think it only answers some of your questions.

Thanks. I'm putting my faith in UBB 6, which is the next major release of the software. If no significant improvements are made, VB it is.
