    Best price for transfers?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good deals on transfers presently available?

I transferred a whole bunch over to RegisterFly last week using their $5.50 promotion but that just ended.

    Thanks,

Regfly runs the cheapest I know of. I frequently use the specials to move my names caught at drop registrars over. I would check www.theflypaper.com to see when they run the next special

Is price the only thing that matters? EV1 is cheap but their control panel stinks. Directi is cheap also but the system is, has been, and probably always will be flaky as a Pillsbury buttermilk biscuit.

Thanks dmaven. I noticed that after your first advice to check FlyPaper. I entered the promo code but it returned an "expired or out of date" error. I will try again though because it seems to be an on-and-off kind of promotion over the holiday period.

Hi acis837 - no, price is not the only thing that matters but if I can save a few bucks and still get a decent control panel (RegisterFly's is excellent - rebranded eNom I guess) just for the effort of posting here for advice then I will :-)

Just like anyplace RF has a few glitches but at $5.50 you can hardly go wrong. My point was most people look at the bottom dollar and then get pissed off when they have problems with DNS and control panels. Makes no sense to me.

Their is 100% proprietary to Regfly. This is nothing like enom's. I prefer regfly's interface

    Wasn't there a registrar/host that does domains for $4?

If there is, chances are you'll end up paying more than what you
    originally planned.
