Angry Reseller Club - Its a Joke?

I'm an old user of Enom. But today, I see that Reseller Club offer something for free like domain privacy.

Nice. Well, I use whmcs, then i know there is a program to whmcs resellers. https://www.whmcs.com/partners/resellerclub/

Registered in the program, and tried to register a new domain for me.

No way, you need to create a customer in your whmcs reseller panel to register a domain for you. Ok. No problem, it's for reseller, and not for you.

OMG... on reseller club website the price for a .com domain, is $7.99 and for whmcs resellers it shows $9.45, but they billed me 10.21 and when I refill my account with $20.00 they billed 0.68 of paypal tax.

Are you kidding me? $7.99 for everyone, but if you are reseller, its 10.21 and you need to pay 0.68 of tax.

Back to the Enom. Bye bye reseller club.

Sorry not being harsh, but your using the WHMCS Sub-Reseller... Let me put it this way:

    1. You pay WHMCS $9.95

    2. WHMCS pays $7.99

    3. You get your domain.

If you BUY direct you get the $7.99 price.

And you have to pay the PayPal fee, so it gets deducted from your "Add Funds".

Yes it's called Stargate. (http://docs.whmcs.com/Stargate) but you can use any LogicBoxes module:

ResellerClub, NetEarthOne, Stargate as they are all via the same API.

Yes, that's correct, that's why when your registering your using the http://freeaccount.partnersite.myord...how_signupform

    not the original http://uk.resellerclub.com/signup-now.

That's why I was lucky, I made a mistake and paid the RC fee, but then I looked back and found out I made the right choice.

    http://www.resell.biz/

When the domain company is from UK and the webserver is on US, don't need to care with Ping?
When some connection ask dns "whats the IP of this domain?".

Will lost some speed with this because the registrar is on UK or or am I talking nonsense words?
    or...
The registrar send information to the iccan and dns servers ask settings on iccan?

Resell.biz is not a reseller of ResellerClub, buy they use same Control panel (LogicBox) for domain management.

If you add 20$ via paypal / CC you will get 20$ credit in your resell.biz account. 100% credit.

Don't get confused with LogixBox software. Its a DirectI.com product and used by many popular ICANN registrar including ResellerClub, resell.biz, Bigrock, NetEarthOne etc.

I was just trying to escape from ResellerClub them because the panel does not have an option for you to register a domain to yourself. And i do this a lot of times.

If do you wants to register a domain to yourself, you need to create a sub-account for it. =/

But if resell.biz is $9.16 (if im correct) and resellerclub is $7.99, why go for resell.biz if they have the same terrible control panel.

Enom has a good control panel and easy to use, a fault only when you need to register nameservers, is very different of the other control panels.

Anyway, if do you wants a WONDERFUL control panel, where you almost can make your domain fly, just register on the Godaddy. Really, the godaddy control panel works like if you have a WindowsProgram.exe, is not easy to do on the web what the godaddy control panel do!

    =-=-=-=

For the resellerclub / resell.biz, the deposit is not a problem. The problem is to register a domain to yourself. =/

Yeah, we will need some help from a moderator. Needs to change the name of this topic. The correct name should be WHMCS reseller club joke! =P

I just opened with this name, because before open this, I did not know that clicking the reseller club whmcs link, would be opening a reseller account into the reseller account of whmcs.

There's no way to register a domain yourself, every decent register requires customers, what's the big issue in making a customer account, it's takes two seconds. You trying to hide your name or something?

The registrar sets their prices, if you don't like it, oh well, no domains for you.

ICANN Registry - Sets price for $5 (for example)

Registrar - Sets their price for $8

Resellers -Sets their price for $9.99

    It's a chain re-action.

Internetbs is good and they have affordable prices but the only downside is that they don't accept PayPal anymore.

For who do not accept paypal account, you can get a neteller credit card.

    I use it, a lot -> neteller.com

Now the resellerclub have fixed my account, and I'm starting to use. Well, its not a godaddy control panel, but... the prices is so good!

Now you can open yourself a customer account of your reseller account and buy domains of yourself, or even sell yourself domains. Whichever you prefer

    No issues

I been using resellerclub for a while and never had issues with them, all prices have been charged at what it costs as a reseller and have never been overcharged for any domains.
