    Being "spied" on

So I was just going through my webalizer logs for one of my political sites when I noticed an ip being pretty active on my site so I did a reverse dns lookup and it had no records. So then I did a whois on the ip and get back:

    [Querying whois.arin.net]
    [whois.arin.net]
    UUNET Technologies, Inc. UUNET65 (NET-65-192-0-0-1)
    65.192.0.0 - 65.223.255.255
    CYVEILLANCE UU-65-222-176-96-D6 (NET-65-222-176-96-1)
    65.222.176.96 - 65.222.176.127

Obviously the name Cyveillance immediately intrigued me, I came across the wikipedia article and a few others:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyveillance

Anyone else having these cyveillance bots monitoring their sites and such?

Interesting. I'm not a fan of people wasting my personal website's bandwidth for no reason so I grabbed the linuxgod.net guy's .htaccess file: http://www.linuxgod.net/.htaccess
