Any quality ECommerce platform is going to be complicated. If it wasn't complicated, it would be severely lacking features in most cases.

Ultimately, it sounds like you need to pick a solution that will work for you and then spend the time learning it. You know WHMCS 'like the back of your hand' due to experience. I'd venture to say the first day you loaded it up, you didn't know it 'like the back of your hand.'

Sincerely and with maximum respect, if you do find opencart and prestashop complicated, then I believe you dont have what is needed to work with ecommerce. I will recommend you to hire a professional to do the job or subscribe to a service like ECWID. ECWID is software as a service, they will host everything, and you just need to enter your items to their system.

Then integrate easily their system to any CMS or html website.

They have free and paid membership.
