v1.8.0 is out. Details are here (screen shots): http://blog.unixy.net/2013/05/cpanel...user-features/
In a nutshell:
Your end users are now able to:
1) Fine-tune caching of their own domain or subdomain (dynamic and/or static TTL)
2) Purge their domain data from the Varnish cache. Purge is granular down to the subdomain
3) Disable caching per (sub)domain
The other not-so-subtle feature or improvement that went in is that now when you make a VCL change, Varnish isn't restarted at all. The new VCL is loaded silently preserving whatever hot-cache Varnish holds. This means no more waiting for the cache to rebuild or losing on those precious CPU cycles.
The download is getting readied and KB docs written out. Give it a day or two for all to be available.
Enjoy!Last edited by UNIXy; 05-02-2013 at 04:14 AM.

Hey Joe, when trying to enable end-user UNIXy Varnish features we get an error.
"Could not read license file /etc/varnish/unixyvarnish.eu.license Be sure to save the license key in the above file and try again EUF License Status: Invalid "
This is on an active license and per the support database should work:
http://www.unixy.net/secure/knowledg...h-license.html
Bug?
Thanks,

EUF is a separate license from the plugin license. Here's the KB group for EUF:
http://www.unixy.net/secure/knowledg...-User-Features
And here's the KB post on how to obtain the EUF license:
http://www.unixy.net/secure/knowledg...r-Feature.html
Checked your account and couldn't locate an EUF license. So that might be it. Let me know how things go with this.

So much regret
Hi All,
I purchased the Varnish plugin from unixy. And boy did i regret. First of all its more like an Alpha version. It works instable and 30% of the stuff is broken.
Before i knew all of this, i purchased the quarterly subscription for the plugin. But when i decided to go for the 'buy the thing' plan, i asked them to cancel the quarterly subscription, which they did (i thought).
So a few months later, i noticed i still got charged quarterly for that plugin, even though it got cancelled. So i asked they what was up and if they could refund it. I've waited for 2 months, no response. I've send more then 10 e-mails asking them to respond and even reached out to them on Twitter. Without any result.
Then i decided to setup an automated mailing system, which sends the reminders to them FOR me. Within a couple of hours (timezones) they replied to me if i could stop sending the emails, or they had to block my account. Ofcourse MY money is still in their pockets.
I am never ever going to do business with unixy again. They are just a bunch of scammers.
