Eleven2 slow page loading on shared host

Hi, I have purchased today a shared hosting package with eleven2 and I notice that the page load is a bit slow and sometimes really really slow. I just have installed a punbb forum, so nothing heavy.

    It's something rare?

Have you tried to see the server load status ? If the cpu is up tu 4 - 5 % the website will start to load slow and slower if the load is higher

Did you contact eleven2 support ? I would suggest to contact them first and let them know the issue .Check your website speed and how much it optimized from here :

    Code:
    http://webpagetest.org
Inaddition ,check CPU load in cpanel control panel and post here the status .

Do you by chance have Wordpress installed on this account? There's an ongoing brute force attack against WP that could cause something like this in a CloudLinux shared hosting environment.

It was a question, bud. I read his op. Thanks to the auto-installers the majority have no idea what they've actually installed and they've never upgraded a software in their life - which I don't blame them for - this is the fault of auto installers.

If you can't install the software yourself you really have no business running it.

Consider it a fishing expedition. Just looking for the obvious answer.

Feel free to ignore my comments OP - just trying to throw a lifeline to a friend and searchers.

No man - you're good. I was 'just asking'. We have clients with WP installs from 7 years ago that they had no idea the install existed.

It was a question. Nothing more, nothing less.

If there is no WP Involved then great - if there is.... We 'may' be on to something.

How about we wait to see what the OP says and we'll continue to try and help him? I just poked for a little bit more info, my friend - I'm sure you understand.

This is a problem - when a simple question turns into a 'I'm right' fight.

You're probably right man, congratulations. Maybe this line of questioning will help some other client.

Keep up the good work and let's just try to focus on the clients needs. We need them far more than they need us.

No apologies needed - we are trying to help and that's really the best we can do.

I've enjoyed your input on these forums and look forward to more of your insightful posts, my friend.

I'm just trying to help the same as you are. Sometimes we get the info we need, sometimes we have to ask some specific questions that seem unusual for additional info - let's just not call each other out for the methodS we use to support these anonymous clients. Much respect to you - I appreciate your responses and help as I am sure the OP does as wel.

    Right, GLE -

Right you are, Sir. OP, So - any Wordpress installs on your account? Just curious as this may be helpful to troubleshoot the original issue?

I'm not idiot, I installed only punbb as I said.
This morning the situation is a bit better, I'll take you updated.

In your opinion it is not normal for eleven2? Or the slow page load of a lightweight php+mysql (just installed, so without too entries) is frequent?
If the problem persist I'll contact support.

My thread might be able to help you out.

Also do contact their support, they're very helpful IMO. Not the best in terms of response time but they usually get stuff sorted out.
