exellent start with HostOrb
I found HostOrb.com on this forum and decided to sign up with them. My pre-sale question was answered quickly and my account was activated after 10 mins. It turns they have some cool features that they didn't even bother mention. Thanks, Dave
I'll update this topic in 2 months or so

Maybe they'd like to see how their customers' sites perform?

I'm changing my DNS nameservers from my previous/"extinct" host; so, the domain is still pointing to a dead server. PM me if u want my soon-to-be-operating URL.
I played around with my SSH account. At first glance, HostOrb's servers seem seem to be relatively secured. I'm just a bit paranoid about security after my last host.

PS: anyone know why I got this OpenSRS error when I attempt to change my DNS nameservers:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Unable to update nameservers: Command failed: unable to verify existence of nameserver ns1.hostorb.net
-----------------------------------------------------------
I'm quite sure that ns1.hostorb.net is running fine. The domain expires 2004-02-27 22:35:30

Your right. I misread the post. I was thinking that Porky went to the site and couldn't find an index page, rather he was explaining that he didn't have an index page. My apologies.

PM me if u want my URL. It's fair since:
- Some of u are paranoid about hosts' self-advertising.
- I'm paranoid about giving out my website's URL in a public forum
