I think it was Netscape but can't recall. It was back in 1997-1998.

Cannot remember however I can remember using some of the earliest versions of Firefox. Since then, the version numbering has been going up incredibly fast - makes me feel old..

Mosaic, yes I am old.

Old Internet Explorer version. Tried the older Safari at that time too and preferred it but wasn't actually competent enough to download a new one until a year or two later.
One of the oldest Pc's would be a very old pentium 3 (Maybe P2 Klamath). Loved the old cartridge type installs. Oldest networking equipment had like 16 sticks of memory and around 8MB of memory.
The sad part is a lot of the browsers I use now still have poor multicore support after 16+ years.

Also IE or Netscape - AOL were huge at that point, will never forget my little singing 56kbit box which I had to sit on if I was trying to sneak onto the PC late at night.

I was going to say GEnie but I don't think there was really anything resembling a web browser it was more like a massive BBS. I did play the first multiplayer online game there, I think It was called megawars and 300 baud. Then I started my first BBS so I could cheat at TradeWars.
Getting nostalgic here.
