    WHMCS packages/ordering

Ok so I'm quite a bit confused as to what WHMCS can/can't do. Is it possible to synchronize packages I have created in WHM, with WHMCS, and have WHMCS automatically create the accounts for me? Or am I supposed to login to WHMCS, look at the orders, and create the accounts myself from WHM?

    Thank you

Q: Can you sync packages? Can you create Custom Packages?
A: Yes - You can sync or get WHMCS to create custom packages for you.

Q: Can you get WHMCS to create for you?
    A: Yes - Automated stuff.

Q: Do you need to login, look and create from WHM?
A: No but you can if you want. But that would defeat the purpose of automation.

    Thank you for your reply.

I'm new to this and I have to admit I'm struggling a little bit. Where will I be able to find instructions on how to do the above?

This would be a good place to start.

I've followed the instructions and added the server but I wasn't able to get it to set the accounts up automatically. I'll try again -- thanks!

Have you added the key and etc? You need to configure remote API for it.

I think I'm almost there... it created an account for me however it didn't send the account details to the customers e-mail address. AH... selecting the hosting account welcome e-mail from products/services might do the trick... there's just so much to learn it's overwhelming I feel bad sending so many tickets to Dan (he seems to answer all the tickets himself).

Haha, one of the biggest problems I've had setting up WHMCS is to send out login emails when an account is created.

I know you'll love me for the rest of your life when I tell you to make sure you have your "Server" setup inside a group and not left alone under "None", and then make sure you copy and paste your API Hash key from WHM into WHMCS and verify the login/pw works.

    ...you're welcome!

I think I have... My Servers page brings up my cpanel server, and then my group points to the server. I THINK it's set up correctly, I entered the username and password instead of the AH; if I click the "WHM" button on my server list, it does bring me into WHM If I use the cPanel/WHM import option it does import my domain.

    I have a question here..
What will happen if I click on the import button in WHMCS more than once.?
Will there be duplication of a/c ?

WHMCS is a great script, but it takes a bit of studying to learn all it's tweaks and capabilities, take a day or 2 and study the docs
If you are setting up a new installation(ie you don't host any sites yet), don't worry about import.
In WHM go to Packages - Feature Manager and create a feature list for your package
Then in WHM Packages add a package and choose the above created feature list.
Then in WHMCS Setup - Products/Services create the 'product' that you want to sell.
In this product under the 'Module Settings' tab enter 'Module Name'=Cpanel and 'WHM Package Name'=the WHM package name you created above.
Also recommended that you enter the same 'Web Space Quota' and 'Bandwidth Limit' the same as your WHM package(but shouldn't be needed, WHMCS will pull this data)
The rest you can leave blank, WHMCS will pull the data.
(but remember to choose at the bottom of 'Module Settings' tab how and when you want the product set up.)
Sit back and relax, WHMCS will look after things.

so if I have a added a duplicate entry how can i delete them in WHMCS.
will deleting a duplicate entry delete the a/c fully or just the duplicate a/c..
