PayPal subscriptions + WHMCS = Not acknowledging payments

Has anyone else noticed this? For the past few days, we have been having issues with PayPal subscription payments not posting back to us to acknowledge payments.

I have determined that all of these issues are subscriptions, and not single payments.

Make sure you have IPN and your callback URL is set correctly from your PayPal account.

We have had this issue for months, ONLY on subscription payments.

We moved our help desk to a different URL. The subscriptions that were set already were set on our old call back URL so we had to set a re-direct.

    Hope this helps.

Even I am also facing the same issue.
A few hours ago, I got a notification from Paypal that:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

    http://xxx
    http://xxx

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

    Thanks,
    PayPal
I checked and everything looks fine from our server ends.

Yes same here. All settings are fine. Followed the instructions by WHMCS and still have the problem.

I just remembered, try resetting (disable then enable) the IPN on paypal side. This is what I do when I get this issue. I did mine last week and have not received any warning emails since.

I have a few accounts that have this issue due to the clients name having non english characters in it, but I went in and changed IPN to the proper charset so hopefully that will resolve it.

I checked IPN History and found that it was stopped since 2nd August, 2013. Did it also started happening with you on the same date?

Are you receiving Payments alerts on your email account that Paypal sends? I am even missing that as well.

I just tried what APX has suggested. Let's see if this help

Didn't PayPal update their IPN standard some time last month or so? Maybe that might be the issue

Has the disabling and re-enabling of the IPN helped? I havn't tried it yet but will today as this is still happening.

We've had this a bunch of times, infact all subscriptions created before a certain date stopped working.

After no resolution from either side we had those customers re-subscribe and there have been no reported issues since.

Well glad to know that despite multiple reports WHMCS seemingly refuses to take this seriously. Only solidifies my belief that this market truly needs some serious competition to knock WHMCS out.

    Update:

Changing site IP did the trick. Now it works fine.
Same server... everything same as earlier... just change my site IP and it worked fine.

Was Paypal blocking my Server IP?
