    Question

    How come my personal details are shown when i do a whois search on a domain? Is there anyway that i could hide it? I mean i dont want the anyone who do a whois on my domain SEE ALL MY PERSONAL DETAILS

    I don't think you can "hide" that. I suggest calling networksolutions - 1-800-779-1710 (some times difficult to get someone on the phone though) Otherwise, if you registered your domain name through networksolutions you want to change your personal info to may be your office address for example. That can be easily done through this link from networksolutions: http://networksolutions.com/makechanges/

    While the "rules" state that you have to use a legitimate phone number and address, there's no reason not to use a role designation instead of your own name. For example, you'll commonly see "Hostmaster" instead of a first and last name. You could just as easily and legitimately use something like "Network Administrator" or "Accounting Department."
