A few monitoring questions / Graph integration questions
So the company I work for is developing its own panel for server and network organization. Is it possible to integrate graphs generated via Cacti or another app into the system without having to login elsewhere or click any links? Just include in the image, or maybe somehow prompt cacti to generate the image(s) and then grab them?
I have also been playing around with Nagios, and theres a bit more configuration than I would like to deal with. I suppose if things get down to it and nagios is my only option, then of course I will have to go ahead and use it. I gave zenoss a shot, but it seems to be a bit buggy and feels like its still in the developing stage. What are you guys using for monitoring?
Thanks!

You can do this with rtg. I've done it in the past with a php include tag and it works well.
Haven't tried with cacti....pretty sure you can do this with mrtg as well.Senior Network Architect

If you already have a graphing solution in place (Cacti, MRTG, any other RRD tool) then just export the graphs from said solution. Cacti has this built in (Settings -> Graph Export), MRTG could probably be done with a simple script called from cron.
You would need to know the naming convention of the graphs, and match the graphs up to your logged in client, use PHP to output the necessary image tag.
