    need 3rd party support recommendation

    Hello...

I help run an increasingly busy site on a dedicated server. We're looking to migrate the site from the existing server, to a more powerful high-end installation on FreeBSD.

I'm looking for recommendations on a support provider to help get the FreeBSD box up and running by confirming latest install of all critical services, disable unneeded services, perform a security audit, etc.

There are so many of these types of contract support providers out there, I was hoping some of you may have some experiences with a few and could provide recommendaitons.

    Thanks.

You can do a search and you will see this type of question has been answered a few times before. There are a bunch of good companies out there, personally, I like and use www.rack911.com and have never had any problems at all.

The last few boxes I have put online, I have used them to harden the boxes.

Check out AcuNett. They are active on these forums. I have also had good results with rfxnetworks.com

Along with rack911, there's AcuNett also, like Dacsoft said. A few weeks ago they had a special i believe. They'll do a intial server setup for you with FreeBSD. With all the firewall, SSH hardening, etc.
