Question Ensim, Atomia, Plesk, HC. Who also a competitor for H-Sphere?

Again same question, still unresolved. Need a replace my H-Sphere cluster. Looking for a Windows / Linux hosting panel... Alternatives:

    1. HC9 - seems to be not stable...
    2. Plesk - Parallels owned.
    3. Atomia - too expensive? $4000 per month? But seems to be very interesting.
    4. Ensim - expensive? any experience to shre?

    who also?

If you absolutely need a Windows server in your cluster, then there is no better choice than Plesk.

We reported security flaws in HC9, I don't think they ever got back to us... never heard of Atomia and I don't think Ensim is up to much these days. To be honest, I would just go with Plesk and overlook the fact that Parallels owns it.

Didn't Parallels acquire Ensim at some point? Maybe it was just the old Ensim Pro product they purchased.

If you could live without the windows server being included in the Cluster, Interworx is a very nice control panel, built in clustering, very simple to set up. They are also currently working on high-availability clustering, entering the Beta stages right now.

But if you want the windows servers in the cluster as well, then Interworx won't work.

Based on own experience of working with Parallels, I'd prefer to look for another solution. And the monthly price of Plesk with all servers and features will be enough high.

Parallels have improved leaps and bounds in the past few years when it comes to support.

    That's how I feel too.

People have to get over their feelings for Parallels. As far as I'm concerned, they are the ONLY real player for Windows hosting... no point in using another product just because people don't like the brand / support.
