We spoke about it here before .. Quickbooks 2000, do a search, it is the best piece of software (my opinion) to do what you need, it even does the recurring billin, so you allways know when to bill your clients

Does anyone use Financial Freedom billing manager pro? I doubt many people have heard of this, but I got it off the burst website when I was with them back in the day, heh. I'd get Quickbooks, but I just want to be sure that it does something more than this free program...

    Lightbulb FF Billing Manager

Site5 actually used FF BIlling Manager Pro for nearly a year. It's not a bad program. However, there are some logistical problems. One of the most important being that it has no fields for payment information, so you are forced to store it in the "comments" field... and the only way to get it out is to manually copy and paste it.

If you just have a few customers, then it is fine. However when you get into the hundreds, billing can get to be a real chore (copy, paste, copy, paste). I would seek out a web-based solution before turning to FF Billing Manager.

    Just my two cents

    Exactly

If I knew of one.. I would definitely tell you.

The obvious advantage of a web-based solution is that you can write extensions to allow it to plug directly into a CC processing interface, and "automate" your billing process.

We have since moved all of our billing to our exclusive BillAdmin program, whish is loosely modeled off FF Billing Manager. However, the major difference is that with the single click of a button, we can make hundreds of charges, as opposed to manually copying and pasting the data from a Windows-based program into a secure online form.

If you're just starting out, FF Billing Manager can be a great program. However once you reach 40 or 50 customers, you will find yourself spending quite a bit of time with your fingers on the "control", "c" and "v" keys.
