After when the installation is complete go to <server-ip>:2087
and use root user and password!

Installing cpanel is easy but if it's your first time the hosting provider usually does it for you if you ask.

cPanel installation on a VPS can take around 1 hour. So, be patient during installation. Also, run EasyApache after completing cPanel installation from WHM.

Login to SSH. Run the following

    Code:
    mkdir /home/cpinstall
    cd /home/cpinstall
    wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
    sh latest
Once done, as stated above, login to WHM at https://IP-ADDR:2087/ using the root username and password.

    Don't forget also.

    yum install perl
    yum install wget

You only need to install perl and wget on minimal based operating systems

    hi All,

Understand that when we access cpanel

    domain.com:2082 (non SSL)

assume a new VPS + cpanel/whm as the TS mention, do he/she able to access the cpanel using

    domain.com:2083 (SSL) ?

do he/she need to subscribe SSL in order to use domain.com:2083?

Both ports :2082 (non-SSL) and :2083 (SSL secured) will be available by default on a cPanel installation.

@adriana14 there is no free version of cPanel but one can use it for 15 days as trial with full function.

Though there are some free and paid alternatives available.
Just google you will find many names to choose from.
    - to lazy to write about them briefly.

I'm looking for free tool like cpanel!!

You can pick up cPanel licenses for around $12USD per month, it is worth every $ - there is SOME free alternatives around, but in my opinion, does not compare.
