    If you want to use green host, what company would you start from and why?

    Thanks for the list I would support. Anyway does any body will issues those host that claim it powered by wind power? Facebook is way far from green & wind power.

    Not sure I totally get your question, but I think you might be asking are we wind powered? We are not, we are on the Icelandic power grid which is powered 100% by renewables (30% geothermal and 70% hydropower).

    Any DC on a mixed grid claiming to be "powered by wind power" is actually just buying renewables certificates. This is only green if it is based on genuinely additional capacity (ie wind power generation capacity which would not have been built had that contract not been signed).

    I heard about few Green Hosting Companies like HostPapa, Green-Hosting, RackSpace, EcoWebHosting, etc And other good hosting firms like JustHost, iPage, HostClear,GoDaddy. But don't have any further idea. So please read review & feedbacks of companies.

    you can always use internets best friend "google" to find a green host. try to find one as local as possible to you .
