I've got the time, do you have the work?
I'm in the position of being able to take on a few short term projects while I await a position to open up for me in the next week or three.
Here's what I can do:
I'm fairly adept at PHP/MySQL/HTML and CSS. I'm actually pretty nitpicky about ensuring XHTML/HTML/CSS validation. I have a bit of a passion and a certain level of favoritism towards Real Estate, Massage Therapist or American Collegiate Football oriented siets.
Need an inventory audit? I'm pretty adept and skilled at this.
Licensing/Billing audit? How much money are you losing from non terminated accounts and/or licenses?
Analytical or other research projects? On one project I researched/analyzed, I helped a company recorver $1.3 million from overpaid taxes. On another, I save a company more than $50,000 in potential overpayment expenses from an acquisition bid. And on another, I was able to take customer records that were only 10% accurate and get them to 95% accuracy, in preparation of transferring customers from one company to another (DSL internet services; I worked with several Verizon departments across the US to achieve the end result.)
And yes, I am willing to travel within the US, if needed.
Please note that I am NOT looking for a Sales or Support type role.
NOTE: I am not a graphics person, though I can and will bring ideas to the table with an emphasis on improving a current site, if requested.
I'm not looking for long term, ongoing projects (YET).
If you're looking for someone that's less than $20/hour, I'm not the guy you want.
A couple sites that I've worked on/with (still working with) are www.hogville.net and www.gridironhistory.com. I've done several Real Estate sites. I'm not an expert in SEO, though I do try to ensure that the sites I work on have a lot of the very basic concepts of SEO implemented.
I'm not going to scam anyone (I didn't work on building up my WHT rep as long/as hard as I did by being stupid, haha), but I won't allow myself to be scammed, either.
Got a small project you need some help with or a static site you want to turn into a database driven site? Let's get connected. Feel free to PM me.

I don't have Skype, but do have AIM/MSN/Yahoo. Shoot me your email address here and I'll get you my contact info. Or highlight me on Twitter, and I'll contact you that way.
Thanks!Last edited by Douglas; 03-22-2012 at 06:15 PM.

Not an offer of work but a recommendation. Worked with Dougy many moons ago and he was great.

Benjamin, you sure you have the right Doug? There's a "Dougy" on here, as well. I don't recognize your name.
