What type of access do you wish to offer your guests? (r, w, r+w)

Thanks for the quick replies guys..
I simply want the guest to use Firefox to download shows via download links - I only want them to access the nested show folders. They will also need to be able to rename shows so I guess they will need full r+w control.
Many thankshttp://www.1mix.co.uk Its all about the music..

To rename files you would need to use FTP. Remote Desktop wouldn't be good for what you are trying to accomplish.
You can also use password protected webfolders and have clients access the shows via website.com/folder - but they wouldn't be able to rename this way - just pull the files down.Linux & Windows Hosting Expert @ Contegix

Remote Desktop help needed
Hi Motiv - thanks for the reply..
I already use ftp for DJ's to upload their shows, but some have so many stations that its impractical for them to upload. In those cases, the stations are sent a download link, and you go in on remote desktop and download the show into the correct folder.
Basically, I want a guest account so someone else can help with that and general housekeeping of the shows, without being able to make any critical changes to the server or programmes..
I hope I have made my needs clearerhttp://www.1mix.co.uk Its all about the music..
