Keep getting an error message sent to my email inbox. Don't know how to resolve it.

I keep getting this email sent to me. I've tried to resolve it, but it no use.

The server itself works just fine, but not fine enough apparently.

    The mail sent is:

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (my.hostname.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 1.1.1.1 . Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
    believe everything else is correct.

Note that 1.1.1.1 is my main IP.

Do I need to have resolv.conf setup? The file doesn't even exist currently.

OK this is what you do

Go to whm > DNS Functions > Add an Entry for your Hostname

    That's the strange thing...

It should be functioning because I have an entry already. In fact, I can't add another entry.

I think I may have to do this manually since WHM seems to be acting up when try to add anything else.

Any other hints? I may get this server setup yet!

When people hide real info it's difficult for anyone to diagnose a problem properly, if you're not prepared to give your real IP or domain we can only take a stab in the dark

In this case, it shouldn't even matter. It's not the IP that needs help, it's the fact that WHM seems to be stuck looking for an IP somewhere in a config file.

    Hello,

If you believe your server is definitely configured properly, you can always switch to an edge release and then run /script/upcp --force.

This seems to fix a lot of random, weird issues.
