Hi
Servarica is pleased to announce the release of new version of our Citrix XenServer WHMCS module
The Main advantages of the module are
* full utilization of XenApi (no services required to be running in XenServer)

* More Security (no services installed in the server side)
* Bandwidth Billing (bill your users for extra BW they use)
* Bandwidth Usage Graphs (MRTG) and Total Bandwidth summery
The module supports the following operations
* Provision (install) new VPS (CentOs,Debian and ubuntu)(Fedora and Redhat should be supported but not tested)
* Terminate VPS
* Suspend VPS
* Boot, Restart and Shutdown Vm
* Detect Vm power state (running or shutdown)
* Show how long vm has been running
* Command history
Currently the Module is in Beta version for the first 30 Beta Users you will get 2 months free of charge and 20% lifetime discount afterwards

Hello,
Would this work for dedicated servers as well or is there something similar for dedicated servers that integrates with WHMCS?
Thanks
Jake

Hi Jake
actually this module doesn't work for dedicated server management. but you have opened an interesting topic.
I am thinking of implementing dedicated server management module that do basically the same functions as this module.
I already thought about some clever tricks that would make that work but I didn't start yet as I am not sure about that market and if a module like this will make any success in dedicated servers market.
you know what I am thinking of writing another post within the next 2 weeks explaining the limitation and having a poll on weather it will find success or not
it seems your post will be the reason for my next project
Thanks

Hi Salsero
Actually there is zero major bugs
but I have to admit we had some minor bugs in the first installations such as wrong translations, html markups etc
currently The module is on solid grounds with all known bugs solved.
Also we give full support so if there is any small bug here or there it can be solved immediately on you system.
my last installation was with customer having 21 servers with hundreds of VMs and it runs like a champ with no problems at all.
Thanks

Hi
We have added a new install script to Servarica XenServer WHMCS Module (SXSWM).
Using the new script the module installation should take minutes if php requirements met.
the new simplified install instruction are available here
http://servarica.com/swxsm-install-instructions/
Thanks

Two questions:
1. One of the reason why Citrix XenServer, even the free version, is more preferable than opensource Xen is due to it better support for Windows OS. Does your module work for Windows VM (e.g., banwidth tracking, start/stop VM, etc)? Can it deploy VM based on Windows OS templates?
2. How about console view?Fluid Hosting, LLC - Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure: Cloud Shared and Reseller, Cloud VPS, and Cloud Hybrid Server

Currently the module support all the operation on windows except the auto provisioning feature.
and to be precise the following feature are supported on Windows Based VMs
# Boot, Restart,Shutdown Vm
# Terminate VPS
# Suspend VPS
# Detect Vm power state (running or shutdown)
# Show how long vm has been running
# Command history
# Bandwidth Billing
# Bandwidth Usage Graphs and Total Bandwidth summery.
and I agree Windows Auto Provisioning is an important feature and we are planing to add it as soon as possible
2. How about console view?
not available in the current version but we are planing to add it very soon (probably it will be available with windows auto provisioning in the next release)
thanks

Servarica, do you use it to control your vm's for customers? If so do you have to pay Citrix?

no you dont need to pay for Citrix as xenServer free edition is completely free even for commercial use.
