    IP Tables Problem, Not Able to login in SSH directly ( In Rescue Mode )

    Hello,

    I need help how to fix iptables in Rescue Mode... Please tell me step by step commands or do it for me for free or at nominal price...

    Sites not opening, cpanel not opening, not able to login to ssh in normal mode...

    i dont know about errors, all i know is the problem is with iptables, because i faced this same problem 30 - 40 days ago, and 1 guy from other forum helped me to fix last time, only he told me the problem was in iptables.... but he is ill and he cant help now and i dont have time to wait...

    Please someone help...

    You don't need to reboot the server or to put it into rescue mode to flush iptables. Just login to your datacenter's helpdesk, ask them to console into the server and flush iptables. That's all you have to do. No rescue mode needed, no reboot needed

    Yeah, it is always better to contact DC techs to handle such cases.

    but there support sucks, they wont, so if anyone know how to do in rescue mode then please help me... as i know first we have to mount and then fix.. but dont know commands..

    Plzz help someone... ready to give ssh access via teamviewer..

    Are you using OVH server? Rescue mode sounds like OVH.

    If yes, then you need to wait for the SSH Login details to be emailed to you. Make sure your email address is correct.

    Then find a datacenter who doesn't "suck". Really, you can't do anything else.

    yup its ovh and i already got the rescue login details...

    please someone help...

    You need to mount the root filesystem on a temporary directory, say for example, the root filesystem is on /dev/sda1, you need to execute

    mount /dev/sda1 /tempdir
    You can also try to mount other Linux partitions by guessing the partition name. It won't create any harm.

    I recommend you to fire this command and then reboot

    /sbin/chkconfig iptables off
    (or)
    chkconfig --level 35 iptables off

    can anyone do it for me through teamviewer?

    or tell me the exact commands i need to run... yes i know i need to mount, but tell all commands of mount and then to fix iptables...
