No reply on the reason. I called and started troubleshooting an IP and they could not get to it. When I mentioned Kingcomp, he stopped and said "Oh, Kingcomp, their shutoff. You may want to call them."
That's all I got. Also have no replies from them either...0

I'm hoping it's a "mis-understanding" and will be corrected immediately between Kingcomp (FDC) and Cogent.
Still waiting for some sort of message from them (Petr you there?).0

They must be busy resolving the problem. I wish they make it resolved so atleast we get our data off from the machines.

I'm sorry to inform you that Kingcomp's service with Cogent Communications has been terminated due to repeated AUP violations. Chances are they are currently scrambling to find another backbone connectivity provider. You'd have to contact Kingcomp in order to find out what their intentions are about finding an alternate backbone provider, and/or retrieving your data stored on their servers.
FYI, our ticket number related to Kingcomp's termination decision is HD13672.
Good luck,
Glen Cooper

They'd have to have an internet connection to be able to respond. Oh wait, they haven't got one of those anymore
My sympathy to all the FDC customers affected, I used to be one of them and can feel the pain. Where's this yipes connection now?
Anybody care to share their popcorn with me, sounds very tempting and I can't wait to hear what happened...

I think that's a question that only FDC or Cogent can answer.

Wouldn't surprise me if the word 'warez' popped up somewhere in the AUP violations. They were asking for it giving unmetered transfer.
