Webmail very slow (horde and squirrelmail)

    hi all,

anybody facing slow to open webmail in cPanel server?

I found my squirrelmail and horder is very slow to open, but neomail does not any problem. Is it the imap prblem?

I try /upcp, restart xinetd, /scripts/fullhordereset, cpanel restart, but useless. even i ran /scripts/fixwebmail, i got error :

chown: failed to get attributes of `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory
chmod: failed to get attributes of `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory

Yes, i did upcp --force b4.

I follow the guide in cPanel forum:

    cp -p /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/config/config_default.php /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/config/config.php

I hope this will solve your problem. If problem exists run the following commands.

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/makecpphp

but the problem still exist. The Horder also is same prblem and very slow. Is it IMAP issue?

Try stopping the firewall (probably apf) and then check the loading time for horde and squirrelmail.
