Photoshop "monitor calibration error"... hardware problem?

When I try to use photoshop I get the following error pop-up message:

"The monitor profile "LCD color management and conversion" appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software."

And then photoshop closes saying hardware error, I can't use the program at all. This is a nightmare, I desperately REALLY need to use photoshop right now.

I googled and saw that many other people had this exact same problem but I tried all of their solutions but mine is still not fixed. See below:

ALL of those people in those links had the EXACT same problem in photoshop but I can't seem to fix mine. Has anybody here ever had this problem and know how to fix it?

Did you try changing the color profile for the monitor? How about updating the driver for the monitor, perhaps LG has a newer one for the model.

Sorry for delay in response. It turns out that my brand new dell lcd monitor became defective because it suddenly started showing white as yellow... messed up colors. When I plug in another lcd everything is fine... so it's just my lcd breaking down so hopefully I can get dell to replace it still.
