Best way to learn Magento
Hello everyone,
I need to get a strong ecom service under my belt and want to learn magento. What is the best way to learn it... Are there any developer books this, I learn best by text.

A great way to get started is to get a test server, install it, and go through it. There is a ton of online information on using it as well, but getting your hands-dirty with it will help you learn quickly.

You can practice on local host, download something like xampp:
https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html
Then download magneto:
http://magento.com/resources/technical
run it out of the htdocs folder in xampp, type 'localhost' or 'localhost/install' etc in your desktop browser.

You can easily learn Magento through online websites there are so many coaching institutes which provide certification also and learn through videos on YouTube. Hope it helps you a lot to learn Magento in short time.
