How to secure a VPS built with Fedora Core 6?
I am a newbie to managing VPS but I have gone through almost everything about setting up a VPS. I can feel the learning curve that I've been through
Now it comes to hardening the security of my VPS, I followed the below instructions:
http://rimuhosting.com/howto/ports.jsp
http://rimuhosting.com/howto/firewall.jsp
I used the Webmin control panel to do some basic security stuffs like allowing and disallowing some traffic. But I am not 100% sure if that's all.
If any of you have good ideas how to harden the security, please give me some help.
My VPS: Fedora Core 6 and Webmin control panel
