3 words of domain name - tough decision
I want to register a domain with "biz" word in the middle but wonder if it's hard for user to remember it?

depend on what u put before and after 'biz', I guess. Something like 'mybizwork' is not too bad. What 2 words, besides 'biz', are u considering?

As a general rule, the shorter the name is, the more memorable it is, and the more likley it will be typed in at the browser.
Of course, .coms will always be king for type-ins, but depending on your business/hobby, you might consider just the 2 keywords in the .biz tld. Technically, 1 tld works much like any another. It's only the customer perception on you using the .biz instead of the .com.Signature Under Construction.

like citybizdirectory.com? Is citybusiness.com or citybiz.com or citydirectory.com or citydir.com available? city.biz? (probably not).

The tld is just perception in peoples minds, as you have just enunciated (must stop using thefreedictionary.com)
