OK I hear all this talk about Alabanza. Now who are their competitors.

Also what all do these competitors offer that maybe alabanza doesn't and what does alabanza offer that they don't.

And the biggest thing on the list. How does their support compare to alabanza.

    Thanks

Alabanza competition would be (in no particular order):

    vdi.net
    dialtoneinternet.com
    rackspace.com
    verio.com (way overpriced)

Rackspace and dialtone are primarily offer RaQ servers.

VDI is similar to Alabanza but the control panel for the server admin is no where near the level of Alabanza.

With Alabanza you get superior automation. Great control panels and great customer support, for a price.

I'd type more, but my fingers seem to be caught in jelly or something. Hard to type.

    Don't forget

    http://www.dn.net
    http://www.servervault.com
    http://www.dedicatedhosting.com
    http://www.hostpro.com
    http://www.terabyte.com

With sphera, plesk and several other web hosting automations tools available (at cost) any dedicated server provider can give Alabanza a run for their money.

I don't know what you might mean by "primarily" here, but I wouldn't agree with that statement. They both offer Raqs, but I wouldn't say either is "primarily" a source for Raq servers. Rackspace, in fact, offers NT and Win2000 servers, in addition to Solaris, Linux, and FreeBSD. And, of course, Cobalt Raqs.
