BNSHosting review
This review is probably a couple of years late, but finding practically nothing about this host I thought I'd throw them a bone. The company I used to work with was hosted with BNS Hosting for at least a year, and during the time I worked there I put up another site for them which is hosted with BNS for two years to date.
Pros:
- It's one of the very few (the only one I know of) Philippine hosts that have their own datacenter in the country, which is great for Philippine companies with a local market
- While it's not 24/7 support, they do offer phone support and a ticketing system. The live chat is a feature they added recently.
- Support aims to please. At one time, the site's home page wouldn't come up (due to my fault), and after calling them and asking how to fix it, they instead fixed it themselves in record time and called me back to say everything was fine.
- While downtimes are sometimes unavoidable (not that this happens often), they have things fixed as soon as they can (I remember a two-day intermittent downtime, at most, excepting the times when storms hit)
- It's a relatively small company, so customer care is more personal
Cons:
- Speed is sometimes an issue, especially at peak times. It's relatively slower than US-based hosts
- The Philippines is a typhoon-prone country, so when the rainy season comes expect downtime caused by fallen telephone poles, floods, and what-have-yous that aren't the host's fault (nor can they do anything about it), but it's something to consider when hosting in the Philippines
- Their shared hosting plans have very limited resources. The lowest plan is around 45 USD per year (3.7/month) for 100 MB disk space and 1 GB bandwidth, while the highest shared plan is 252 USD (21/month) for only 650 MB space and 8GB BW.
- Probably just a nitpick, but it's like they didn't bother to get a design for their site...

Own datacenter? Are you sure pal? The last time I check my 5 fingers are enough to count the real datacenters in the Philippines.
1. Vitro of PLDT
2. Ayala Port of Globe
3. Eastern Telecoms
As far as I know they are collocating with PLDT but maybe I'm wrong. Can you share to us the local IP?█ Ask for Server IP & Nameservers IP to check if your reseller provider truly provides 100% white-label.

Sans, I know Wilson (owner) and he is a nice guy. Great review and his team will surely appreciate your feedback.
Yujin, I inquired about their colocation service a few years ago and I understand they have a building in Caloocan City. I didn't see the datacenter but my hunch it is similar set-up like Mozcom in The Peak Building at Makati City.
About Philweb, are you referring to Philweb.com.ph? I understand they are into e-gaming (licensed by Pagcor) and not a web hosting service provider according to their website.WEB.COM.PH Inc.

By the way nowanda, can you recommend a company in the Philippines that manages server? Or maybe something like SecuredServer (fully managed dedicated).Last edited by Yujin; 02-21-2012 at 01:23 AM.

Yujin, yes we have web hosting servers (cpanel) colocated in Vitro Data Center.
Regarding server management services, try searching for WebbyCart here in WHT. I understand they are based in Alabang. Good luck!WEB.COM.PH Inc.
