when i load up cpanel and select drives it's say hdb and hdc drives were found and is asking if i want to mount and format. I don't want to do any formating on my system cause the secondary drive holds my only backup copy of sites and user data. i'm waiting for the DC to respond to my ticket

try:
Well, first you have to determine if hdb or hdc is the second harddrive. Then, use FDISK to get a list of partitions, and then create folders such as /olddrive/1 olddrive/2 olddrive/3 etc and mount /dev/hd(b/c)(1-X) to mount the individual partitions to folders
its hard to give the specific commands without knowing the partition setupAvi B
