Newbie, meet SSL.....SSL, Newbie-
I'm moving an ecommerce site to a new host. I currently have an ssl cert from freessl. Do need to buy another certificate from freessl for the new server or can I expect to just get a new cert from freessl?
I told you I was a Newbie.
Thanks,
P. Munky

No, you can use your current SSL Certificate information with your new host. Assuming you have the .crt file and .key file still lying around, just give that to them and them install the certificate. If you don't it, it's not a big deal as you can still get it, but you'll need your current host to login as root and send you the information.
