How Do You Calculate Bandwidth?
How do I know how much Bandwidth I will need when purchasing a dedicated server?

You could use that as reference or ask your provider to send you a screenshot of the exact monthly usage on their monitoring.

install awstats and you will be able to see all hits and bandwidth usage.

Dedicated server transfer is metered at switch level. Applications run at higher level and don't register every bit crossing the switch.
