    Some terrible news!

In a world of security it is really Cyber-ism at it's best, seems like Distribute I.T has been the latest victim to the online realities of being compromised:

At least 4800 Australian websites have been lost with no chance of recovery following a break-in at Australian domain registrar and web host Distribute.IT.

It is being claimed that Lulz-Sec had something to do with it!

I can understand you're worried but don't make accusations unless you are 100% sure Hackers are the kind of people you don't wanna piss off ...

That is true. Some of these organizations / people you read about are pure genius. To think for every hacker there's like a team of counter-hackers trying to prevent it .. yet somehow the hacker(s) always prevail. It's crazy if you think about it.

I never made accusations at all, not sure what you are talking about.

I said "If you read", "It is being", I never said, "I" was saying it was this group or that group, or any group for that matter.

I am not the one making any form of accusation here, I only noted what came from the article nothing more and nothing less.

Crazy, will these guys ever stop? The only end I see for this is government regulation. Bad news for everyone.

Not crazy when you think about it.
The security has to be right 100% of the time never fail for them not to succeed.
The hacker can be wrong a thousand times and only has to get it right one time to succeed.

Odds are in the hackers favor.

Distribute.IT did not appear to have offsite backups of customer data.

Having severs with customer data on it without proper monitoring is like having one night stand without using protections - eventually, there will be an 'oh s**t!' moment.
