Question How to Setup a BlackHawk Down Game Server

    Hi,

I have a spare server that is not really being used up much and would like to run a game server on it for the time being. My friends and I like to play Delta Force Blackhawk Down, so I thought that would be a great choice to run.

The server is from Rackshack and is currently running Red Hat Linux. I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to set something like this up. I did find a Counter Strike how to, but no luck for BlackHawk Down.

Could any one step me through this or point to a tutorial on the web. Maybe even the files required to run the game?

    Thanks!

There is no dedicated server for BHD released for Linux, and from what I've gathered, there never will be.

You have to start it up as a regular Windows app, then select to run it as a dedicated server in game.

Edit: there are some utilities available to help, check: http://www.condascode.com/

Thanks. What about Wolfenstein? Can that be played on a Linux based system?

I am trying to install the game in Server 2003

Hey having issues even installing this game in Sever 2003 just to host it for myself and a few friends... Anythoughts or suggestions it is KVM virtual environment and the main source of the issue is its not getting past the hardware detect screen for the display.. is there anyway to emulate 3d draw just for a moment to satisfy the installation of the game??
