    * E-mail Issues... Please Help URGENT.

    One Client of mine keeps getting e-mail issues... He cannot send from comcast nor his Email address on his server to my email address on the same server...

    ERROR LOGS:

    Well, looks like there are a lot of 550 Administrative prohibition errors in there.

    My only guess (and I'm no expert here) is that he's been blocked by comcast. There's been a lot of news in the tech community recently about how comcast has been disconnecting zombie email relays. These are machines which have been taken over remotely and are used by spammers to blast out emails. The owners of the machines never even know they've been taken over to begin with, and aren't aware that they've been acting as spam relays.

    Just a thought. Have your friend contact comcast to see if this is the case.

    Comcast is likely blocking access to port 25 for SMTP service.

    Have your friend call up comcast and check to see if they've shut off his email privaliges

    Yeah we've had problems with some of our clients and comcast as well - I can't remember if we managed to solve it actually I think the user just moved ISPs(!)
