1U cases
While browsing pricewatch I saw these cases for $90:

Anyone tried using these? For $90, it seems like a great deal, but you also must wonder. I don't want to buy crap.
Aside from this link, what's the word on good and cheap 1U cases?
Thanks.

Wow,,
just looking at how it is set up.. looks like an over heat waiting to happen.
No forced air in. Just two fans in the middle wall (Inside the box), and one exaughst fan going out through the power unit.
I wouldn't feel safe with this set up.
There are better 1U boxes out..

I'd agree. Looks cheap to me. Personally, I'm fond of Boomrack cases.

I think the cooling, though not the greatest, is OK. The $90, I believe, does not come with power supply, which is another $40-$60 ..
cheers,

1u cases are all about fit. You want one at a good price? What is going it it? What motherboard, etc?
Have you considered just getting a "barebone" 1u server with the motherboard already in it? You just add RAM + CPU + Hard Drives...
