    >GBit Hosting

    Was wondering if anyone knew of any hosts that offer speeds greater than 1 GBit (Other than OVH)

    Location doesn't matter, but I'd like to find a couple based in both the US / EU.

    Thanks

    Whats wrong with OVH ? they have one of the best networks in europe and rock solid servers with awesome prices, their support is improving too and their OVH manager is awesome.

    Ugh, I don't like their manager. That's just imo though. Their prices rock though, and their connection is superb.

    @OP, you can always go through a reseller.

    I'd prefer to be able to go straight through the providers themselves. Could we try to keep it on topic a little, as I said OVH isn't an option, thanks.

    Great than 1Gbps? The only port option than is 10Gbps. So you are looking for a dedicated server provider that offers 10Gbps ports on a server correct?
    What about bonded 2x1Gbps?

    Bonded would work, 10GBit might be a little overkill but I'd be open to any providers that have them as well.

    I might be a little off, but there used to be a .nl site that I think offered 4Gbit (Probably bonded as well), they used to (They may still) sell gameservers / had a few "official" ones on games like Counter Strike Source, etc...

    I think you mean i3D
    But regular hdds (non-raid) can't even saturate 1Gbit.
    I peak at about 65MB/s within OVH network.

    This part is simply not true. Their network is one of the worst in Europe. They have consistant 60-70 ms more on every route compared with various competitors.

    Are you looking for a server with 1Gbps or a rack or just connectivity?

    @Others

    Price is not an issue

    @Dark
    That might have been them, I'll look into it.

    Many do offer that who have a good reputation. I think you should look around in the offers sections, visit some websites to get a good feeling of the provider and mail a few providers.

    But make sure you mention the exact sustained speed you require. If you also tell them the content you serve, they can better advice you. Good luck.
