Not sure if this helps anyone, but I have these and a few other common benchmarks scripted that I used for STH using UnixBench 5.1.3 + the patch for too many cores (I think it was >16 right?)
The script takes a clean Ubuntu server installation (have tested from 12.04 -> 14.04) then:
Installs all updates,
Compiles/ installs everything,
Runs hardinfo, UnixBench CPU tests in the OP, some PTS tests and a c-ray benchmark
Not suitable for a production server so this is for testing only since you are updating and running as sudo.
The plus side is three steps:

That may help folks trying to do quick tests and that are having trouble figuring out what to get in terms of dependencies.
What may also help is this is the same script we use for the main site so quite a bit of data also for easy comparison.
Also, we are working on the STHbench 2014 version at: https://github.com/STH-Dev/STHbench.sh/
That has a bunch of new benchmarks added but also works in CentOS and a bunch of others with a Docker branch already working. The 2014 version does all of the above also and one of the next steps is being able to selectively just run the tests one wants (e.g. UnixBench). Also, we need to work on tidying up after so it will eventually remove everything automatically.

Just tested my new VPS from hudsonvalleyhost:
cPanel/Managed 6GB RAM, 250GB HDD, purchased with 2 CPU cores. With promo code cost me $41,25/month.
Works perfect for me. VPS was alreasy serving all websites and server load wa high when test run. I missed chance to test it while new and not setup all websites.
