    hawkhost down?

Its been already 5 hours downtime. Even their hypervm doesn't work (http://gizmo.hawkhost.com:8888/). But their main website is up (maybe on different server).
I've tried their support but no reply.
This is the first time their server is down since 4 month I used their service.
    anyone have any idea?

Everything loads for me; are you sure it isn't a problem at your end?

We are currently experiencing some sort of hardware related issue on the gizmo server. We are unsure on the exact cause but currently the machine will not stay online.

The link you provided works fine on my side. It took me right to the login screen with Hypervm.

There was a problem with the node you are on during the early morning. The grave yard shift failed to identify the problem properly. A simple reboot of the node was not going to solve the problem in this case. It was an issue with the system unable to boot in with the raid controller. We resolved that problem and the node has been for some time booting up VM's.
The problem squarely lies on us for failure to properly train the grave yard for such an instance occurring. It should have been solved in under an hour as we knew of it almost instantly.
We do have SLA for instances like this when we fail to meet the high quality services we advertise. You are welcome to make use of it if you wish. It can be found at http://www.hawkhost.com/Policy/sla

This is what great support and service is all about. Giving an explanation, accepting blame/fault where due, and fixing the issue, and offering additional information (how to use their SLA), is the right way to handle any situation.
Things happen, but it's the way a provider/business handles what happened that defines them as a company.
In this case, an excellent one!
