    Hello,

TO change site's IP address, you have to change the A record of the domain in the zone file and in the virtual host entry of the domain in the webserver conf file. Which webserver is running in the server?

You mentioned that you need to do from SSH but things will be easier if you have any control panel. Do you have any?

Or go ahead as serverpoint suggested.

You need to change it in apache configuration too, or you will get a wrong page in browser.
