I always recommend filezilla or WSFTP LE, a lot of people on our staff are recommending filezilla, it's free and works great!

I use FileZilla too. It is really easy to use, I get connection errors with it many times.

A great write up surely for those with no proper idea on FTP. FTP is surely pretty important to install in your server to get better results.

    Hello guys,

Remember several popular web browsers support the FTP protocol (good for drag-and-drop uploading).

    Connection string being:

    ftp://username:password@domain.com

Substitute with proper data and voilá! FTP client from your web browser!

    Good for non-sensitive data.

(Of course, if you need security, go with the full-blown clients that support sFTP, just posting a tip for the fellows).

    Regards,
    Victor

I prefer using Dreamweaver to upload my sites. With Dreamweaver I can code design and upload my websites so its a big plus. Its definitely worth the investment if your planing on creating more than one website.
