We just migrated to SolusVM from HyperVM and SolusVM does everything we need and more. I don't believe that the cost of Virtuozzo justifies its benefits to clients who don't need a lot of hand holding. To name a few control panels out there:

Virtuozzo (proven product backed by Parallels, most expensive)
SolusVM (fairly new in the market)
HyperVM (not a lot of movement since the source has been released)
    FluidVM (doesn't seem production ready)

    I'm sure there's more.

My vote of Virtuozzo and HyperVM..both pretty solid control panels.

my experience has shown that cpanel is the easiest to use for both admins and customers. Cpanel's support is really responsive as well, they will even login to your server and fix issues for you if you open a ticket.

@bluemediaprint: Are you asking about our thoughts on the best control panel for a VPS or the best control panel to manage VPS's? They're two different things as one will be deployed to the VPS itself while the other will be deployed to the dedicated server to help deploy VPS's.

There is no "Best" one, it depends on your needs really.

We use SolusVM and have been implementing ideas with the Developers since initial release

I think 2nd one - the best control panel to manage VPS's.

If you are looking for Visualization then I would say the Virtuozzo is best for it.

We utilize Solus, it's great a joy to work with and it seems to get better and better every week.

Solus: Everything works well and the developers are open to new ideas
HyperVM: Unstable at best, very shaky history
VePortal: I dont trust the management team
Fluid: Has some nice features, does not seem ready for the masses
Virtuozzo: The cost is too high for the benefit

You might as well consider free (open source) solutions.

Man... it should be YEARS since you are not reading what's going on here. HyperVM is as dead as its author that hanged himself just right after security issues were discovered (nobody knows if the 2 events are related). Since, it's open source, but controlled by some people that refused for month to disclose the source, and showed that they are not competent to handle the job. Read the forum between July and September, and you'll see what I mean.

SolusVM has straight up been the easiest and most stable panel we have used in the past year, and we have tried them all. WebVZ is also really stable if you just need something quick and easy for a single server.

    Well said !!.

A lot depends on your way of costing. Like the amount spend on the hardware , number of clients that will be hosted and then the price at which you are planning this whole thing.

However HyperVM and Virtuozzo are my choices and they are in extreme poles when pricing is considered

My vote is for VDSmanager. It is very easy-to-use. The VDSmanager price is cheaper than Virtuozzo. VDSmanager is offered in two versions: VDSmanager-Linux and VDSmanager-FreeBSD.

FluidVM is no where near ready for production, and they support team is also no where near existent. They seem to go through more staff than upgrades.

The system has a lot of potential and is fairly east to use, but still has a lot of bugs to be fixed.

HyperVM works well, is Open Source and has a lot of powerful features. But it's not actively maintained anymore.

SolusVM only recently introduced XEN, so I don't know how well they know XEN really.
