How does one mount EXT3 from Openfiler in CentOS?
Whilst creating a volume in Openfiler one gets 3 options for filesystem: xfs, ext3 and iscsi. I have been successfully able to mount ISCSI in CentOS, but not ext3 shares. It seems confusing that ISCSI can be chosen amongst ext3/xfs as it is a protocol, not a filesystem?
I wonder how ext3/xfs shares are mounted? Does it require enabling of the Samba/NFS service and mounting that way? Does this also work with targeting, via user/password or another way?
