If you have WHM access yes, go to the following path and edit anything you want.
WHM -> Account Functions -> Modify an Account
the default user home path is : /home/cpuser/
when you change the cpanel username it will be changed automaticlly.

I'm sorry to be rude, but you are offering server management yet have to ask about changing a cpanel username, hmm, think I'll pass on any services you offer

no, but you do mention nearly every other service, if you are so good at everything else then it would be expected that you know about cpanel as well.

FYI, only feasible way to change username and homedir is to remove account and start again

This is enough to change the cpanel user ID and home directory will be changed too automatically.

cPanel/WHM has this all scripted, so it really is as simple as changing the username in Modify Account, then the scripts go off and do their thing.

ah well, learn something new everyday.

Thing is, I can say that and not care as i do not advertise myself as a linux sys admin, but for people that pass themselves off as experts on linux administration....

Just had some interesting reading, some of your posts really make me wonder if you should be advertising your services at all.
