We try to be as paper free as possible, I still remember the claim computers would give us a paper free world -- I must have overslept that day! Heck I have been recycling for over 30 years, paid for college the second time working a trash truck and recycling on weekends.
I had no choice where I am but to go green, coop wanted 4k to put poles in, now its up to 9 or 10k! Was cheaper to design and develop my own system.Sasquatch Hosting, Inc

There is no standard, but if you happen to be completely off the grid, solar or wind, then for my standard I would consider you to be green, yes because you are generating back the energy you consume, at least if we talk about electricity.

Green only depends on how little you are using acutal power and more towards something with naturally powered like wind and solar. So yes you are green
