    Network Liquidators / Network Hardware

Anyone have any experiences to report about purchasing used / refurb gear from either Network Liquidators (nweq.com) or Network Hardware (networkhardware.com)?

We've bought some Cisco items from Network Hardware Resale a few times. Very professional and fast.

We have in the past but will no longer.

We had multiple instances of orders never shipping on time (critical overnight orders), them shipping stuff to wrong location, shipping dead equipment.

I'll you the name of the rep/company we deal with now, so much better than them.

I've bought a couple things from Network Liquidators but only as a last resort. Most of the time if I want to pay thier prices I can buy new.

We use Relay Networks, Inc. Nothing but incredibly good things to say about them.

Resale sites may seem a bit pricey at times, but that is only due to supply and demand just like every other commodity.
Of course that's true of resale sites in general. My comment was on Network Liquidators specifically. There are a lot of resale sites out there that have warranties and quality, used or refurbished equipment. Network Liquidators' quotes are always almost exactly twice what I can get the same equipment, with warranty for from my normal sources.

Nothing against them personally. I've bought a couple pieces of equipment from them in the past when I HAD to have it so bad I didn't mind getting bent over. They have always been fast and professional. Just pricey.

That's interesting because Network Liquidators are currently our best price for the project we're looking at. Network Hardware is close, but they don't have a lifetime warranty.

I have been buying from NHR (Networkhardware.com) for 15 years with no issues. Another company to check out would be Astreya, I have bought a lot from them as well.

I've dealt with Chris Hill chill@nweq.com

I was happily surprised a while ago when all I wanted was some foundry console cables, they were responsive enough to call me back after filling out a web form and filled the small order promptly.

I just returned from a trip to our DC this past week. The hardware we received from Network Hardware Resale by far had the best packaging of any new or used gear I've ever bought. I know it seems trivial, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
