i setup the email server on centos 6 following the guideline from https://www.digitalocean.com/communi...ix-on-centos-6
i am able to send out email from mailx terminal to my gmail. however, when i reply from gmail to my linux email account, i get bounced back."Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender"
is there anything i missed out here?
thanks in advance,

Please make sure that you have proper MX record set for your domain name and also make sure that you have set up rDNS record for your mail server. You can not set rDNS from your side, you will have to contact your data center people to set it up for you.

Also might want to check that the 'reply-to' on your outgoing mail is correct. Many times the hostname isn't resolvable in messages generated by mail clients, so email will go out looking like 'someone@locahost.localdomain'.

i checked the DNS of the domain has been setup for this server ip.
From outside, i am able to go to www.domain.com. and i am able to ping domain.com from outside.
not sure do i need the rDNS? i assume that if i was able to ping my domainname from internet, it should have been 'resolved' to this IP.
and i double check the reply to. it's the someone@domain.com which is the original address which i got in my gmail when i sent out from mailx for testing purpose.

Hi Nich.
i checked my DNS config. Under the MX section
Mail Servers (MX Records) help
Note: Mail Servers are listed in rank order
domain.com
Edit MX Records
my domain is already listed there.

there is a problem with your RDNS you cant set it through your pannel, contact with your service provider and tell him to set it asap.
